Spring Is Here

I spent much of the last seven days in a hospital room with my father and today is the first day I really have had a chance to look outside!   I love the many shades of green and other colors that Spring offers us here in Colorado.  It seems as though, in just one week, so many flowers have blossomed, the grass is ready to be mowed, and unfortunately, for some, allergy season is also in full bloom!

In Spring, we get to enjoy tulips and these are one of my favorite flowers to shoot.  This purple tulip had not yet bloomed, so I removed a petal and carefully opened it to reveal the beautiful, new plant, as the insides had not yet been exposed.  Pure beauty!
