His Wisdom

Did you know that flowers have meaning?  They do!  And, one meaning of the beautiful Iris is "wisdom."    I've been spending many days and nights with my father in the hospital these days and I cannot tell you how much I cherish this time and the wisdom he shares with me.

Our conversations range from his stories of growing up on the farm in Northeastern Colorado to his building a business to flying his airplane to current events.  And he tells me to do things "while I can" and to enjoy life.

Do it while you can. Carpe diem. Life is not a dress rehearsal.
